The Coaching for Leadership Certification Program is an accredited program (ACTP) that offers coaches working within an organization the opportunity to develop coaching skill to a professional standard.
We believe that great coaching should look and feel very much the same regardless of the profession, or professional status, of the client. Consequently, this course provides a rigorous grounding in the core skills of coaching. However, without diluting our intention to train coaches who can coach for anything, we add an emphasis on coaching clients to grow as leaders.
The rigor of the program combined with the emphasis on leadership prepares these coaches to work with clients from any level of an organization—from the proverbial shop floor to the board room.
15 days in person, split into three week-long courses 24 hours of teleclasses 6 private supervisions, one hour each 10 hours private coaching (15 to 20 sessions over 7 months) Offers students a minimum instruction of 125 hours over 7 months.
Recommended group size 18-24 students. For larger organizations it is better to run the whole program with 48 students through two sets of course dates. This gives students some flexibility around scheduling and provides support for students to build a wider network.
Students must be committed to learn coaching at a professional level. Graduates must complete all requirements and pass an exam to earn the Certified Leadership Coach designation.
This is a high-intensity program. The ideal students are committed to their own personal and professional growth, have already been successful in their careers, and have the bandwidth to meet the requirements of the program in addition to the requirements of their jobs. Students will not be accepted without the express support of their line manager and several peers.

The Coaching for Leadership Certification Program has earned the ACTP designation from the International Coaching Federation. Among other things, this means that it satisfies the training and testing requirement for those students who wish to apply for an ACC or PCC from the ICF. For more information regarding ACTP status, see the ICF.
