Coaching for Leadership Train the Trainer
The Coaching for Leadership Train the Trainer Program (T3) has two primary goals:
- Train course leaders in the basics of co-creative facilitation.
- Train course leaders to deliver coaching material.
Curriculum Because we are committed to having our courses taught by only the very best facilitators, the program we offer is more extensive and intensive than comparable programs. Briefly:
- 4 hours of prework to learn the content of the course through reading, watching tapes, and teleclasses.
- 40 hours of training over 5 days in a residential context, 3 evenings required.
- This is a very high-rigor facilitator training. No wimps allowed.
- 4 semi-private supervisions to support demo coaching being demo-quality.
- 6 hours of teleclasses after the live course. Monthly, for six months. After that, ongoing all-leader meetings should be moved in-house and will become the responsibility of the more senior in-house leaders.
- Up to 4 hours of private coaching or mentoring as needed, per student, to be provided by one of the student’s T3 leaders
- Two required training partners, meetings required at least twice a month until both partners have led the course twice
- Approximately 30-40 hours of reading. 6 books required, many of which students will have read as part of the CFL Certification Program.
Prerequisites: Eligible students must be Certified Leadership Coaches (CLCs) or have been certified by an ICF Accredited Coach Training Program. Non-CLCs will be accepted on the basis of an interview, and may have to complete additional prework. All candidates must have coached a minimum of 100 hours before acceptance into the T3 program.
The license to deliver the Intro to CFL course does not include rights to reproduce copyrighted materials. Course materials are sold per student only to licensed facilitators or to their organizations.
The license to deliver the Intro to CFL course does not include the cost of videos used in the training.
